It is the new year which means it is time for a new wardrobe. Well not completely new, cause nobody has money for that. This year it is all about mixing vintage items into your modern clothing. From rock band tees to 90’s sportswear, combining these forgotten items into your outfit creates a relaxed and lived in look. Here are some of my picks for the year.

HEAD TO TOE:

Hat- Bring out that “dad hat”, yup that curved brim baseball cap. Brands are now stitching their logos on these simple and classic caps as seen on Zac Efron.

Shirt- A clean t-shirt is a staple for every guy. This year go for a more worn and faded t-shirt with a bold graphic print. Vintage looking tees are now a must so pull out that old Metallica shirt and pair it with a jean jacket. Here are some finds at Cotton On and Converse for that same vintage tee look.

Pants- Jeans are the go-to pants for every guy. Nothing has changed much until now. Designers are becoming more creative with their jean designs. This year expect jeans with a moto style design and jeans with zipper on the side. Honestly, that zipper on the side a such a great detail to make your outfit stand out.

90’s Sportswear- Remember Champion or Reebok? Well those brands are making a comeback. Combine these sport wear brand into your outfit for a causal streetwear look. Check out Kanye rocking the vintage Champion sweatshirt pairing it with some nice chains.
